Gasthaus zum Kussaberg in Kuessaberg

An idyllic place with a large, shady beer garden. Many Swiss from the neighborhood (at least 80%) come here for lunch. Suddenly at around 3 p.m. it quickly becomes empty again. The prices are in the upper range €! ? Big advantage of the location: the Küssaburg is only 10 minutes away. A walk is always worthwhile. Friendly and courteous staff that served quickly and left nothing to be desired Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the restaurant because I (we) were sitting in the beer garden. Something else about the mask requirement: the staff each had a special plastic mask. However, the guests only have one every 10th and no signs so that they can choose their own place ... etc.?. The people all just ran (as before) "without a mask" to the tables and left them as well.???..old as well as young ..

Good home cooking Reservation makes sense, as the guest room is very limited. In summer there is a nice, shady beer garden under the old trees. Pia, the boss, works with heart and soul for her restaurant. Once a year, usually on the last weekend of July, there is a large grill buffet with home-style salads. The last time I counted over 30 different types of lettuce - insider's tip ;-)

Cozy inn, very nice staff and excellent food!

Very friendly hostess and team. We had an idyllic spot in the garden and were just thrilled. The menu convinced (good home cooking), the food is delicious and the prices top. There are homemade desserts and to my delight the salad dressings are homemade and fine. Even though we were there for the first time spontaneously and got a table, I recommend a reservation.

Good traditional, inexpensive and rustic country inn with an appealing, not only meat-based menu and very friendly service. In summer you can enjoy the food outdoors in a village atmosphere. Unfortunately, the space is very limited, so you should reserve seats on Sundays and public holidays.
